Abstract


Objective: To study the effectiveness of web based strategies of Yoga therapy for preventing and curing cardiovascular diseases and also to find whether there is any significance among the different web based strategies in terms of their effectiveness in learning and practising of Yogasanas for preventing and curing cardiovascular diseases. Methodology: An experimental method was found to be true most appropriate method for testing the spelt out hypothesis in the study. Web based learning package deals with 3 methods viz. training, training and feedback and training, feedback and guidance, which helps learners to be practising with confident, and informative. Experimental Group-I, Experimental Group – II and Experimental Group – III. Individualized Instruction via web supported with Multimedia Tools and Techniques was adopted in the Experimental Group – I viz. Training Mode. Individualized Instruction via web supported with Feedback, and Multimedia Tools & Techniques was adopted in Experimental Group – II viz. Training and Feedback Mode. Individualized Instruction via web supported with Feedback, Guidance and Multimedia Tools & Techniques were adopted in Experimental Group – III viz. Training, Feedback and Guidance Mode. This study includes 276 learners as sample, representing different parts of the world. Result: The scores of the students of control and experimental groups will be tabulated and analysed using appropriate statistical techniques. Formulated hypotheses will also be tested availing appropriate statistical tools. Conclusion: Based on the findings of the study, it is concluded that there is a significant difference between the means of pretest and posttest scores of the learners having been intensive training in practising Yogasanas. It is also concluded that there is a difference amongst the students in terms of their total time taken by an individual learners to learn the Yogasanas curing Cardiovascular Diseases.
