Track Policies

Research

Abstracts in the research track are peer-reviewed and must be structured into Background, Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusions (New: DO NOT CITE REFERENCES). Each section should start with the respective heading in the same line (e.g. "Background: The Internet has become..."), with a new section starting on a new line. DO NOT CAPITALIZE SECTION HEADINGS (e.g. do not write "BACKGROUND:", but "Background:"). In the results section, make sure to include relevant statistics, if applicable, such as sample sizes, response rates, P-values or Confidence Intervals.
Limit your abstract to 500 words. First authors should be presenting author. Presenting authors are limited to submitting one oral abstract (including abstracts in other tracks).
