Abstract
Social media in medicine is blooming and medical content remains vital for practicing clinicians. Social media efforts face challenges and may seek to create offerings outside of their "base" by incorporating clinically relevant content. Many medical content providers have only rudimentary social offerings and are looking to enhance this aspect of their relationship with their users.
Are the two meeting in the middle? Are they really coming at this from different ends?
This panel features leadership from Doximity.com (Nate Gross, MD, co-founder) and NEJM Group (Jonathan Adler, MD), along with other experienced thought leaders (TBD) to explore the differences and commonalities of social media and medical content offerings. The views, and experience, of different company's efforts in these realms will be offered and discussed.
